We wrote this book to lay out a path toward social activism for teens (and adults, too, of course) in hopes of empowering a generation to create the world they want to see. There are 128 concrete, well-researched actions to get teens involved in the issues they care about, as well as actions that set the groundwork for keeping young people tuned in even in these cynical times. We hope this book will inspire the creative, bright, optimistic qualities of today’s teens—tomorrow’s changemakers.

The authors, Joanna Spathis and Kerri Kennedy, are a couple of activists/moms/writers who saw the world as they knew it crumble in November 2016 and began fighting to put things right in any ways that they could. Helping pave the way for others to get involved in the fight is their most recent challenge.
